Luxury 7-Day Tour of Montenegro

Montenegro cannot be summed up in a single word. It is a destination where rugged mountain landscapes, tranquil lakes, and an elegant coastline alternate in a rhythm that never becomes predictable. Here, you won’t find mass tourism, but a country that has preserved its authenticity—and that is precisely what makes it so intriguing.

On this tour, you’ll travel in comfort through the country’s most beautiful regions. You’ll explore historic cities with a rich past, enjoy culinary experiences, encounter local traditions that are still very much alive, and experience nature up close—from the water, from high above, and right in the heart of the landscape.

Itinerary

  • Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and comfortably transported to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy the surroundings and settle into the atmosphere of Montenegro.

The next day, you will explore the Bay of Kotor by private boat. You’ll sail past imposing mountain cliffs and charming villages toward Perast, where stately palaces evoke a rich maritime past. The island of Our Lady of the Rocks has a special atmosphere, while Kotor takes you through a maze of alleys and squares. The day concludes with lunch at a spot where the view is just as impressive as your plate.

  • On the Lustica Peninsula, you’ll explore one of the most unspoiled stretches of coastline. Riding e-bikes, you’ll pass through olive groves and small villages, stopping along the way at a family-run business that has been producing olive oil for generations. Lunch in Klinci offers a taste of the essence of local cuisine: simple, fresh, and full of flavor.

  • Take the cable car up above the Bay of Kotor, where the view keeps opening up. In Lovcen National Park, a landscape of forests and mountain ridges awaits. After the climb to Njegos’s mausoleum, you’ll be rewarded with a panoramic view stretching all the way to the Adriatic Sea. In the old royal capital of Cetinje, you’ll enjoy a homemade lunch in a warm, local setting.

  • Lake Skadar is a world unto itself. You’ll cruise by boat past water lilies and tranquil shores, stopping to visit a secluded monastery. Next on the agenda is a wine tasting, followed by lunch amidst the vineyards—a combination that perfectly captures the flavors of the region.

  • The old town of Bar takes you on a journey through different eras, evident in its ruins and architecture. Later, you’ll discover Budva, where a charming old town blends with a lively coastal atmosphere. It’s the perfect way to end your trip on a relaxing note.

  • After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport, marking the end of this tour.

Our highlight of the trip

“For me, the highlight was experiencing nature: the Bay of Kotor from the water and later the view from Lovcen. Two completely different perspectives, but both equally impressive.”
