Traveling through Thailand at a new pace
During this tour, Thailand is not a checklist of temples, but a discovery that moves from city to nature and from traditions to gastronomy. You travel with a private driver and local experts who not only guide you around, but also give you access to stories and places you would otherwise never see. The rhythm shifts organically between bustling cities, green valleys, and historic kingdoms, always with comfort, tranquility, and finesse. Each day is filled with sensory impressions: the scent of jasmine in markets, the sound of ritual bells, the warmth of a Thai meal prepared with pride. This is Thailand for travelers who love to discover, but love to enjoy just as much.
Travel itinerary Thailand
-
Upon arrival in Bangkok, you will be picked up and taken to your luxury hotel on the Chao Phraya River, a peaceful retreat amid all the excitement. The hydromassage pool will quickly become your favorite spot in the city. In the evening, you can choose between riverfront dining or a perfectly prepared afternoon tea.
The next day, after breakfast, you will discover Bangkok through its most iconic temples, from the impressive Golden Buddha at Wat Traimit to Wat Pho and the Grand Palace with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. In the afternoon, you will explore the klongs of Thonburi by longtail boat, visiting the Royal Barges Museum and Wat Arun on the banks of the Chao Phraya River along the way.
-
The capital city gives way to greenery and tranquility when you travel to Kanchanaburi. You will visit the Railway Center, which tells the history of the region in a respectful and poignant way. This is followed by a boat trip on the Kwai River and an encounter with the Mon community. You will stay at a floating wooden hotel, a place that feels like a world unto itself.
-
Today, you will exchange nature for culture. Ayutthaya, the former royal city of Siam, will show you impressive ruins and temples nestled between rivers and greenery. By tuk-tuk, you will visit iconic sites such as the Buddha among tree roots and the reclining Buddha of Lokayasutharam. The day ends with serene meditation in a monastery and a delicious dinner along the river.
-
You will travel to Sukhothai, the cradle of the Thai kingdom. The historical park feels like an open-air museum, but without the crowds, with lakes, rice fields, and ancient stupas alternating throughout. The guide will bring the royal dynasties to life as you walk through the temples. A relaxed afternoon will give you time to experience this beautiful area at your own pace.
The next day, you will immerse yourself in rural life on an organic farm. You will learn how rice is planted and harvested, and how water buffalo still have their place in this centuries-old rhythm. After lunch on the farm, you will visit two lesser-known temples in Sri Satchanalai.
-
The journey north is a voyage of discovery in itself, passing shrines, markets, and small villages. You will stop at Lampang's sacred temple complex and at a local market where the smell of rice crackers greets you. In Chiang Mai, you will enjoy a warm welcome. The evening ends with a Khantoke dinner full of dancing, stories, and regional flavors.
-
You start early by attending an alms ritual: a pure glimpse into the daily life of monks. Then you visit Doi Suthep, which overlooks the valley from high above. You stroll through markets and ride by rickshaw to historic temples. The day ends in a gallery restaurant by the river, where art and cuisine complement each other.
-
Today you will travel to Chiang Rai, the creative and spiritual heart of the north. You will visit the White Temple, a work of art in itself that brings together tradition and modernity. After lunch, you will discover the Black House Museum, a fascinating combination of architecture, art, and symbolism. Chiang Rai immediately feels quieter and more intimate than Chiang Mai, a beautiful contrast.
-
You explore Chiang Rai at your own pace: temples, art parks, and quiet spots fill this day. The highlight is Mae Fah Luang, an open-air museum that elegantly preserves Lanna culture. A visit to Haw Kham, a wooden tower full of details, reveals the soul of the region. Or you can simply enjoy the pool and spa.
-
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Chiang Rai Airport. You conclude a journey that has shown you Thailand in a surprisingly peaceful, sensory, and respectful way.
