During La Tomatina, the picturesque town of Buñol is transformed into a lively backdrop of music, cheering, and a shower of red tomatoes, a playful chaos that immediately immerses you in Spanish party culture.
You start the day early, with a comfortable transfer from Valencia to the festival zone. The energy starts flowing immediately thanks to the music, live acts, snacks, drinks, and the build-up of excitement for what's to come. When the clock strikes twelve, La Tomatina kicks off: thousands of tomatoes fly through the air, the streets turn red, and everyone joins in: young, old, solo travelers, groups of friends, and families.
After the festival, there will be time to relax, freshen up, and recover with a delicious paella. The festivities will continue throughout the afternoon and evening, with access to the official afterparty in Valencia.
