Our highlight of the trip

“The moment when everything comes together is when you glide through the Okavango Delta by mokoro. Without a motor, moving at the water’s pace, you can hear the landscape come to life: birds overhead, reeds swaying gently, hippos in the distance. After days of overland safaris, it’s here that you come to understand how water sets the rhythm of Botswana.”

Featured experiences

Victoria Falls

Accompanied by a local guide, you’ll hike past various viewpoints overlooking the waterfalls. You’ll learn how the Zambezi plunges into a deep gorge here and what role the site plays in local traditions. Mist, thundering water, and rainbows make the experience intense and physically palpable.

Mokoro Tours

In a traditional mokoro, you glide through narrow waterways between reeds and papyrus. The guide steers with a long pole while you watch hippos, birds, and signs of wildlife. The slow pace reveals details you would miss from land.

Evenings around the campfire

After dinner, gather around the fire at the heart of the camp. Guides will share stories about the day and life in the bush. In the silence, you’ll hear nocturnal animals coming to life, while the starry sky spreads out above you.
