A centuries-old Sicilian farmhouse

Tucked away among the rolling hills of the Sicilian countryside lies Susafa, a former farmhouse that has been transformed into an exclusive country retreat. For over 200 years, the estate has belonged to the Saeli-Rizzuto family, who today channel their rich agricultural traditions into a unique form of hospitality. Surrounded by wheat fields, olive trees, and the impressive natural beauty of the Madonie Mountains, you’ll discover an authentic slice of Sicily here, far off the beaten path.

With just 18 rooms and suites, Susafa exudes an intimate, personal atmosphere. The former stables, workshops, and farmhouses have been carefully restored, blending centuries-old stone walls, natural materials, and contemporary comforts. Sicilian cuisine is at the heart of the experience, featuring ingredients from the property’s own vegetable garden, homemade bread, and olive oil from the estate. Between culinary discoveries, you can enjoy the pool, walks through the expansive countryside, or a good glass of local wine.

Susafa is an exceptional destination for anyone who wants to discover the soul of Sicily, with a focus on authenticity, gastronomy, and the beauty of the simple life.
