Upon arrival in Alta Floresta, you’ll head straight into the heart of the rainforest. The drive and boat transfer to the lodge immediately set the tone: endless nature, dark rivers, and a silence broken only by birds and insects. From the very first moment, everything here feels far removed from the outside world.
Over the next few days, you’ll explore the Amazon from different perspectives. You’ll hike along jungle trails where giant ficus trees and Brazil nut trees dominate the landscape. Along the way, you’ll spot monkeys, colorful birds, and, with a little luck, even a tapir among the dense foliage.
By canoe or boat, you glide along narrow river branches as guides help you get into the rhythm of the rainforest. The absolute highlight? Climbing the canopy tower.
